“Mizrach” is hanged on the Schul’s eastern wall ,pointing  to Eretz-Israel, the land of Israel.  During the service, the people are facing the east toward Jerusalem. It is a well known theme of the jewish traditional art.

The papercut on the top is part of this one (18cmx18cm). It includes 6 layers of paper in addition to the Fabriano paper and the golden background.
